Reporting to the Executive Director, Skilled Conduct Review, this position oversees intake, assessment, early resolution, and investigations.

The role advances fair, timely, trauma-informed, distinctions-based processes while protecting the public.Key Responsibilities:

Develop operational plans, priorities, service standards, and accountability frameworksOversee risk-based assessment, prioritization, resolution, and investigation systemsDirect complex, sensitive, systemic, and precedent-setting regulatory mattersLead policy, process, service model,



and quality improvementsEmbed Indigenous cultural safety and anti-racism throughout operationsRequirements:

Master’s degree, law degree, mediation training, or equivalent experienceSeven to ten years in regulatory, investigative, or risk programsDirect management experience in unionized and non-unionized environmentsConflict management, mediation, communication, and relationship-building skillsKnowledge of healthcare legislation and Indigenous-specific anti-racismBring senior leadership, investigative judgment, and regulatory expertise to BCCNM’s public protection mandate in Vancouver.
