About the Position

Bytown Catering is looking for a dependable and hardworking Part time Dishwasher to join our team at a Kanata Outlet location. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday hours with evenings and weekends free.

The successful candidate will support our kitchen team during the busy lunch period by ensuring dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas are kept clean, sanitary, and organized.

This is a new headcount role and will be additional help to our dishwasher team.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all cleaned items are returned to their proper storage areas.
- Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely and according to procedures.
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen floors as required.
- Assist with basic kitchen or food preparation tasks when directed.
- Support the kitchen team during busy lunch service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual,



and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with dishwashing and kitchen work.
- Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food-service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Must be available Monday through Friday during daytime/lunch hours.
