Drive distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure decisions for Splunk’s product fulfillment and provisioning platform.

This engineering leader will guide large technical initiatives across the Delivery Orchestration Platform team and partner teams. You will modernize fulfillment capabilities, influence architectural direction, and strengthen engineering practices through design reviews and mentorship. Your decisions will address security, scalability, long-term reliability, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end delivery of large cross-team technical initiatives

Identify platform improvements for product and customer demands

Influence architecture and engineering standards across multiple teams





Conduct design reviews and code reviews

Develop engineers through direct mentorship and technical guidance

Requirements

Master’s degree plus six years of related experience

Backend development experience using Go or Python

Experience with distributed systems and API design

Experience influencing technical direction across teams

Experience fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence
