TeachItRight

Bradford

Help students learn, grow, and build confidence — one-on-one.

At TeachItRight, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a way that works for them.

We connect exceptional education professionals with students who benefit from individualized support, while creating opportunities where our team can focus on what matters most: building relationships, celebrating progress, and helping children discover what they are capable of.

Our Current Opportunity

We are looking for an Educational Assistant (EA) to provide consistent, in-home support for a Grade 1 student on the autism spectrum as part of his homeschool program.

He is able to communicate his needs verbally and is a bright, creative child with a strong interest in technology, music, and digital activities. His parents are involved in his learning and are looking for someone who will take the time to get to know him, build a robust relationship, and become a consistent part of his homeschool week.

You will work one-on-one with him on Monday and Wednesday mornings, preferably from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. A key focus will be introducing foundational learning skills at his individual pace, beginning with his current abilities and building from there. This may include early literacy, numeracy, communication, fine-motor and writing skills, participation in learning activities, and building greater confidence and independence.

You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and leading daily learning activities tailored to the student's needs, interests, and developmental level. You will use your experience and creativity to adapt activities, establish consistent learning routines, and build on his progress from week to week, with ongoing guidance and support from TeachItRight.

- Is patient, dependable, encouraging, and comfortable providing one-on-one support.
- Understands that every child learns differently and can adapt activities to meet individual needs.

What It Is Like to Work with TeachItRight We believe the best outcomes happen when you are not doing it alone. You will have the autonomy to build a meaningful relationship with your student and use your experience and creativity to support his learning.
