Drive energy optimization sales at Rodan Energy through executive relationships, enterprise selling, and complex solution development across North America. This position is focused on power producers and storage owners.

As Director, Business Development, Optimization, you will expand recent and existing client relationships in the power producer sector. You will sell FlexOps, introduce GridOps and SettlementIQ where appropriate, and develop multi-year service opportunities. Success requires battery storage economics, energy markets, strategic prospecting, and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

Identify target accounts and develop qualified prospects independently

Cold call executives and establish strategic client relationships

Manage a measurable pipeline and personal sales strategy





Lead proposals with solution engineers and cross-functional experts

Build partnerships that broaden service offerings and increase sales

Requirements

Eight or more years in enterprise sales or business development

Record winning multi-year contracts with energy organizations

Background in battery optimization, trading, or market operations

Senior relationships with Ontario power producers and storage owners

Working command of battery storage economics and ancillary services

Use energy markets expertise, executive selling, and optimization knowledge to grow Rodan Energy’s power producer business.
