Estimator / Showroom Sales Representative

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and personable individual to join our team as an Estimator / Showroom Sales Representative.

Our company specializes in the fabrication and installation of quartz, porcelain, and natural stone countertops for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves assisting customers with material selections, preparing accurate estimates, following up on quotations, and maintaining an organized and welcoming showroom.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Sales

- Prepare accurate countertop estimates based on drawings, measurements, and customer specifications.
- Assist customers with selecting countertop materials, colours, finishes, and edge profiles.
- Explain product options, pricing, and installation processes.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding quotations and sales opportunities.
- Review project details to ensure estimates are accurate and complete.
- Work with contractors, designers, builders, and homeowners.
- Maintain accurate customer records and quotation information.

Showroom & Customer Service

- Greet walk-in customers and provide professional, knowledgeable assistance.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom.




- Ensure material samples are properly displayed, labelled, and up to date.
- Monitor sample inventory, remove discontinued products, and organize new samples.
- Maintain duplicate samples for customers to take home and order replacements when necessary.
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide an excellent customer experience.

Administration & Team Support

- Communicate with project coordinators and other team members regarding customer requirements and project details.
- Ensure customer information and job specifications are accurately entered into the company's operating system.
- Assist with general administrative duties as required.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment.

Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and measurements.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong mathematical skills and confidence working with measurements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in sales, estimating, construction, cabinetry, countertops, or interior design is an asset but not required.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
