Lead facilities maintenance and renewal planning for Delta School District, overseeing architectural, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems across 31 schools.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this manager coordinates maintenance, repairs, and minor renewal projects across the District portfolio. The position leads trades supervisors and maintenance teams while managing Annual Facilities Grant initiatives and other renewal programs.

Responsibilities include lifecycle asset management, condition-based prioritization, compliance, and service delivery improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Plan annual and multi-year maintenance and renewal programs

Prioritize work using facility conditions, risks, and lifecycle information

Lead unionized architectural, electrical, and mechanical trades teams

Oversee contractors, procurement, schedules, quality,



and project close-out

Manage CMMS practices and maintenance performance standards

Requirements

Diploma or degree in facilities, engineering, construction, or related field

Minimum seven years of progressively responsible relevant experience

Experience managing architectural, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC programs

Knowledge of codes, safety regulations, asbestos, and hazardous materials

Leadership, budgeting, procurement, communication, and contract administration skills
