Reporting to the Director, Finance, the manager coordinates reporting, cash management, audits, and accounting operations while ensuring alignment with GAAP, legislation, regulations, and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate accounting activities for YHC, YHF, and R4M

Oversee financial controls and audit requirements

Review financial information for accuracy and compliance

Plan multiple priorities and critical reporting deadlines





Lead and develop employees through coaching and evaluation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field

Several years of progressive accounting or financial operations experience

Management or supervisory experience directing staff

Solid GAAP, analytical, and problem-solving knowledge

Proficiency with financial reporting and management information systems

Use financial reporting, control oversight, and accounting leadership to support reliable stewardship throughout Yukon Hospitals.
