We help businesses address financial reporting, complex accounting and assurance requirements, navigate complex tax regulations, and optimize their tax positions. In this group, you will help businesses prepare review engagements reports, compilations reports, financial statements, tax returns to confirm compliance with assurance & accounting standards and tax regulations.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work in our Tax Line of service as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Managing a variety of projects, including review engagements, compilations and tax compliance and planning engagements Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas Collaborate with juniors to provide stretch opportunities, coaching them to deliver results Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends Review your work and that of others for quality,



accuracy and relevance Able to read situations and modify behavior to build quality relationships Drafting financial statements including note disclosures ~ Understanding of ASPE accounting standards & CSRE 2400 review standards ~3 years of experience in a mid-size accounting or public accounting firm ~ Bachelors in accounting or in a similar firm ~ Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation is considered an asset and PwC will give the necessary support ~ Hands-on experience in accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Taxprep or iFirm ~ Understanding of Canadian tax and ability to prepare tax returns for corporations, trusts and partnerships ~ Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
