Job Overview

As a Food Service Worker/Cashier, you’ll support daily food service by preparing and serving food, processing transactions, and keeping the service area clean and organized. Your friendly, efficient service helps customers enjoy a smooth experience and enables colleagues to keep operations moving.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve food while following food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Use POS systems to process orders and payments accurately, handle cash, and complete basic math.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and suggest relevant items through courteous service and appropriate upselling.
- Keep work areas clean, manage time across service tasks, and coordinate with colleagues during busy periods.

Skills Required:



Practical food preparation, safe food handling, sanitation, customer service, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, and time management skills support accurate, effective service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; serving experience; familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS; and confidence with upselling are helpful strengths for contributing to a responsive team.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
