Own electrical engineering for battery energy storage systems at Mapleview Energy, designing power conversion and protection across Southern Ontario. Site attendance is required.As Mapleview’s first dedicated electrical engineer, you will own systems from site assessment through energization and handover. You will work with a battery integration engineer on repurposed EV battery systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Your work spans AC/DC distribution, protection, switching, commissioning, documentation, and field execution.Key Responsibilities:

Assess sites, loads, customer needs, and utility requirementsCalculate conductor sizing, voltage drop, fault current, and protection coordinationDesign distribution, switching, metering, E-stops, and safety interlocksSpecify equipment and prepare BOMs,



procurement specifications, and construction packagesLead testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical handoverRequirements:

Electrical engineering degree;

P.Eng. is an assetExperience with BESS, solar PV, UPS, microgrids, or inverter systemsUnderstanding of AC/DC distribution, grounding, protection, and switchingExperience testing, troubleshooting, and safely energizing equipmentFamiliarity with OESC, CSA requirements, and utility interconnectionBring electrical design, commissioning, and field leadership to Mapleview’s repurposed battery systems across Ontario.
