Established Patient Base | FREE Furnished Housing | Full-Time Opportunity

Your patients are already here. Your housing is taken care of. And your full-time career is waiting.

At a time when many optometry opportunities are limited to part-time positions, Kniaziew Optometry is proud to offer something different: a genuine full-time opportunity with an established patient base, competitive compensation, and FREE furnished housing.

We're looking for a Full time Associate Optometrist to join our Corunna and Petrolia locations in Southwestern Ontario.

This isn't a position where you'll spend months trying to build a schedule from scratch.

One of our long-standing optometrists is beginning a well-deserved retirement after an incredible career serving the Corunna community. We're looking for the right person to continue caring for an established and loyal patient base while also providing care at our nearby Petrolia clinic.

Two established clinics. One full-time position. A great opportunity to build your career.

What We Offer

- FREE furnished two-bedroom housing while working with our team
- Full-time employment between our Corunna and Petrolia locations
- Established and loyal patient bases at both clinics
- Competitive compensation
- Modern diagnostic equipment and technology
- Experienced clinical and administrative support teams
- Established systems and infrastructure
- A collaborative, welcoming work environment
- Opportunities for continued professional growth
- The support of a family-owned organization with 10 locations across Southwestern Ontario
- More than 50 years of serving our communities

Full-Time Work Is Becoming Harder to Find. We're Offering It. We know the optometry job market can be challenging, particularly for new graduates.

Many available positions offer only one or two days per week, leaving optometrists trying to piece together schedules at multiple practices.

We believe there's a better way.

By combining our established Corunna and Petrolia clinics, we're able to offer a full-time opportunity with an existing patient base and experienced support teams.

Instead of worrying about filling your schedule or finding enough days to work, you can focus on what you trained to do:

providing excellent patient care.

And because your housing is provided at no cost, you can keep more of what you earn.

FREE Housing – Making Relocation Easier

Starting a new position or relocating to another community can be expensive.

Rent, furniture, deposits, and moving expenses can quickly add thousands of dollars to the cost of accepting a new opportunity.

That's why we're removing one of the biggest expenses.

We provide a furnished two-bedroom house at no cost while you work with our team.

Whether you're a new graduate looking to get established or an experienced optometrist considering a change, this benefit gives you the flexibility to settle into your new role without the immediate financial pressure of finding housing.

It's one more way we invest in the doctors who join our organization.

Why Corunna & Petrolia?

Corunna and Petrolia offer the charm of smaller communities with convenient access to larger centres.

Corunna is located along the beautiful St. Clair River, approximately 15 minutes from Sarnia and 20 minutes from Port Huron, Michigan.

Petrolia, known for its rich history and welcoming atmosphere, is located approximately 25 minutes from Sarnia.

Both communities offer an excellent quality of life, with waterfront parks, trails, golf, recreation, restaurants, and friendly neighbourhoods.

You'll enjoy the benefits of smaller-community living while remaining close to the amenities of Sarnia and the U.S. border.

For an optometrist, these communities offer something particularly rewarding: the opportunity to genuinely know your patients.

You'll care for individuals and families over many years, build lasting relationships, and become an important part of the communities you serve.

New Graduate? We'd Love to Hear From You.

Maybe you're approaching graduation and trying to decide where to begin your career.

Or perhaps you've already accepted your first position and discovered that working one or two days per week isn't quite what you expected.

That's exactly why we want to connect with you.

Your first job doesn't have to be your forever job, and you don't need to have everything figured out immediately after graduation.

At Kniaziew Optometry, you'll have the opportunity to:

- Step directly into established patient bases
- Work full-time rather than juggling multiple part-time positions
- Learn alongside experienced clinical and administrative teams
- Practise with modern diagnostic technology
- Develop long-term relationships with your patients
- Enjoy the financial benefit of free furnished housing

And if you're an experienced optometrist looking for a fresh start, a more consistent schedule, or a change of pace, we'd be equally happy to hear from you.
