We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time First Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced workplace, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal planning and food presentation to ensure appealing dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies or ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure timely delivery of meals to service areas, maintaining quality and consistency




- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards and proper use of kitchen equipment

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation, presentation, and serving standards
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and menu development is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
