Support CIBC’s Foreign Exchange technology team in Toronto through FX application consulting, investigation, and second-level production support. Work hybrid, onsite one or two days weekly. As an Application Consultant, you will investigate client, technical, outage, and application issues, directing them to CIBC technology groups and vendors.
The work requires FX application support, requirements gathering, documentation, and data analysis in an agile environment. You will collaborate with business and technology partners while supporting planned changes and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate operational issues and prioritize severity, risk, and business needs
- Manage issue logs and client or user requests
- Develop solutions and processes preventing recurring production issues
- Liaise with business partners,
technology teams, clients, and vendors
- Assess impacts of planned system changes and projects Requirements:
- Two years of FX application consulting or support experience
- Experience with Wallstreet FX, Barracuda OMS, or online FX platforms
- At least two years using SQL, Mongo, Jira, and Confluence
- Capital Markets background with requirements gathering and documentation experience
