Alpha Comfort Control Ltd. is an established and growing HVAC and mechanical service company specializing in commercial properties, apartment buildings and multi-residential facilities throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable G1 Gas Technician to join our commercial service team.

This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently on complex commercial heating systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service, repair and maintain commercial and industrial gas-fired equipment.
- Troubleshoot commercial boilers, including condensing and non-condensing systems.
- Service domestic hot water systems, storage tanks, heat exchangers and associated mechanical equipment.
- Perform combustion analysis, burner adjustments and safety testing.
- Diagnose ignition failures, flame-safeguard issues, gas valves, controls and electrical faults.
- Service commercial rooftop heating units and make-up air equipment.
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, control circuits and related hydronic components.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate service reports and communicate findings and repair recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with TSSA requirements, applicable codes and company safety procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G1 Gas Technician license (mandatory).




- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant commercial HVAC or gas equipment service experience preferred.
- Strong experience troubleshooting commercial boilers and burner systems.
- Good understanding of electrical controls, combustion systems and hydronic heating.
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Solid communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation when required.
