About the Farm Charles Keddy Farms Ltd. is a diversified agricultural operation located in Lakeville, Nova Scotia, producing strawberries, raspberries, sweet potatoes, and beef cattle. We are seeking experienced and reliable workers to assist with crop production, livestock care, equipment operation, field maintenance, and harvest activities.

Experience
- Previous agriculture, horticulture, nursery, livestock or farm labor experience is preferred.
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment is considered a strong asset.
- Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hoe between crop rows.
- Clear fields of rocks, stones, wood, and debris.
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops.
- Operate tractors and agricultural equipment used in cultivation, mowing, spraying, planting, and harvesting activities.
- Assist with irrigation system setup, operation, and monitoring.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning,
and minor servicing of farm machinery and equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport of agricultural products and farm supplies.
- Perform general field work and crop maintenance.
- Assist with harvest operations and other farm duties as required.
