West Fraser seeks a Harvest Planning Supervisor for its Woodland’s Team at Blue Ridge Lumber in Alberta. Strong GIS skills support operational forestry planning.

As Planning Supervisor, you will report to the Planning Superintendent and take primary responsibility for harvest planning activities within assigned areas.

Your responsibilities include field layout, preparation and submission of Final Harvest Plans and Annual Operating Plans, and supervision of contractors and seasonal staff. Communication extends to the Government of Alberta and stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

Lead harvest planning activities within assigned areas

Conduct cutblock and road layout fieldwork

Submit Final Harvest and Annual Operating Plans

Supervise contractors and seasonal company staff

Engage Alberta government and stakeholder representatives

Requirements

Alberta RPF or RPFT designation, or eligibility

Strong proficiency using GIS applications

Solid commitment to workplace safety

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Highly motivated with proven organizational skills
