This experienced specialist independently leads Solstice’s COR-certified health and safety management system. The full time, office-first position advises project managers, supports field operations, and improves compliance across Edmonton, Calgary, and Red Deer. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coach a Safety Coordinator and oversee core safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead compliance, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the safety management system

Advise project managers on Alberta OHS, hazards, and risk controls

Coordinate COR audits, corrective actions, and certification requirements

Manage incidents, inspections,



WCB claims, and return-to-work programs

Oversee training, SiteDocs records, and safety communications

Requirements

Five years of progressive occupational health and safety experience

Experience supporting environmental, oil and gas, or construction operations

Knowledge of Alberta OHS, COR, investigations, and hazard assessments

ACSA Auditor certification or completion within the first year

Valid Class 5 driver’s license and required education
