Job Overview Goudy transport is a thriving family owned company, operating primarily in the southeast Saskatchewan oilfield. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical knowledge and expertise in the repair and maintenance of various types of heavy machinery. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent problem-solving skills and excellent time management.

Duties

* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including Semi trucks, trailers, and other related equipment.

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

* Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.

* Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs to maintain equipment functionality.

* Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

* Experience in inspection, diagnosis,



repair and service of heavy duty trucks and trailers * Strong background in automotive repair or related fields is preferred.

* Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is a plus.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with management and colleagues.

* Experience with fluid handling equipment such as tankers, pumps(T&E;), etc is an asset * Class 1 license an asset

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
