GJ Cattle & Crop Inc. is searching for a heavy duty mechanic to primarily work on semi trucks and trailers. We are a family business with grain farming, ranching, and trucking divisions.

Our ideal candidate

· Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license. A 1A license is an asset.

· Excellent mechanical aptitude.

· Able to diagnose issues with all components on trucks and trailers.

· Able to work independently and is efficient with their time.

·Reliable and the ability to take initiative is essential.





· Perform routine maintenance of equipment.

· Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts.

· Perform pre-safety inspections prior to going to certified shop for safety.

· Agriculture background is a large asset, as well as knowledge around tractor and combine maintenance, but not necessary.

Must be able to speak English and permitted to work in Canada.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
