Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck Driver (RIGID)

Working under Superintendent and Field Supervisor(s). Shift rotations = 2 weeks in, 1 week out. Rotations alternate between Day Shifts and Night Shifts. OT after 55 hours. Perks will be discussed during interview.

Roles and Responsibilities – Including but not limited to:

- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
- Perform all pre-trip inspections thoroughly
- Ability to follow direction and understand scope of work
- Accurately complete all work reports
- Effective communication
- Regularly perform Health & Safety inspection of equipment and tools
- Follow all Health and Safety rules and regulations, as well as site specific policies
- Work under customers’ standards




- Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repairs are required
- Perform other tasks related to this function
- Ensure assigned equipment is operated and maintained to original equipment manufacturer specifications and industry best practices

Haul Truck: 40 ton – 65 ton (or equivalent)

- Operate haul unit in a safe and productive manner
- Maneuver forward and in reverse to accept proper loading of material
- Move rock, gravel, and other materials to dump sites.
- Transport and dump loose materials, such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, etc.

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
