Provide inpatient hospitalist care at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, Newfoundland and Labrador, with comprehensive assessments and specialist collaboration. NL Health Services seeks two permanent full time Fee-For-Service Hospitalist Physicians for the Eastern Rural Zone. Physicians provide solo 24-hour coverage for seven consecutive days, averaging one to two weeks monthly, with Nurse Practitioner support during weekday daytime hours.

The role includes inpatient care, clinical investigations, family meetings, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide solo hospitalist coverage during seven consecutive 24-hour shifts

- Liaise with specialist services across the health centre
- Promote person-centered care and patient safety Requirements:
- Medical Degree from a recognized institution
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support certification
- Eligibility for Newfoundland and Labrador physician licensure
- Satisfactory credentialing, privileging, criminal, and vulnerable sector checks
