Men In Trucks is a premium, white-glove moving company that has served Ottawa since 2010 and now operates in 8 Canadian cities. You'll make sure every city has the movers and drivers it needs before our busy season, and that they stay.
What you'll do
- Hire movers, drivers and crew leads for 8 cities ahead of our busy season
- Write job posts, screen applicants (including driver abstracts) and book interviews with City Leads
- Run onboarding in English and French: contracts, policies and safety orientation
- Keep employee files, workers' compensation claims and HR records current
- Check in with every new hire at 30, 60 and 90 days
What you bring
- 2+ years in recruiting or HR, ideally high-volume or agency hiring
- A rapid, organized phone screener; comfortable with an applicant tracking system
- Knowledge of Ontario employment standards; other provinces an asset
- French is an asset
