Season Energy is a BC-based HVAC company specializing in residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and energy-efficient building solutions.

Our services include heat pump installations, gas furnaces, ducted and ductless HVAC systems, ventilation (HRV/ERV), water heaters, and other energy-efficient technologies.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable HVAC Installation Apprentice to join our growing installation team. This position offers hands-on training, practical field experience, and opportunities for long-term career development in the HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior HVAC technicians with the installation of heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ventilation systems.
- Install and connect indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment under supervision.
- Assist with refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, electrical connections, and system components within the apprentice's authorized scope.
- Perform basic sheet metal and ductwork installation, including duct fittings, transitions, and ventilation components.
- Help with equipment mounting, drilling, pipe routing, insulation, and installation preparation.
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting under the direction of qualified technicians.
- Follow installation manuals, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
- Comply with WorkSafeBC requirements and applicable safety regulations.

Daily Routine
- Report to the assigned meeting location or job site according to the daily schedule.
- Review installation assignments and safety requirements with the lead technician.




- Load and organize tools, equipment, and installation materials.
- Travel to residential or commercial job sites with the installation team.
- Assist with installing indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment, piping, ductwork, and accessories.
- Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and cleanup.
- Document completed work and report any issues to the lead technician.
- Prepare tools and materials for upcoming installations.

Qualifications
- Previous HVAC, mechanical, construction, or related hands-on experience is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to learn HVAC installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting equipment, working on ladders, and performing installation tasks safely.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence preferred.
- Ability to travel to various job sites throughout Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
