Calgary-based Intermediate Process Engineer supporting brownfield and greenfield facilities projects with process simulations, design reviews, and troubleshooting expertise.

This one-year contract supports engineering and construction work from ideation through start-up. You will provide technical process engineering across complex facility systems, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support facilities development in midstream gas processing, NGL fractionation, or refining environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support process engineering across brownfield and greenfield facilities projects

Develop simulations for conceptual design cost estimates

Review EPC consultant, contractor, and supplier engineering documents

Participate in design reviews and process hazard assessments

Troubleshoot process issues with facility operations teams

Requirements

Bachelor degree in chemical engineering

Five or more years in midstream, NGL, or refining

Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS and experience with BRE ProMax

P.Eng certification with APEGA

Calgary location or willingness to relocate
