Own identity security at Alpaca with IAM and SSO expertise while working remotely across the company’s distributed Security Team.As an IT Security Engineer, you will protect workforce identities, endpoints, and critical business systems. You will maintain security standards across MFA, privileged access, endpoint security, email protection, and secure network access. The role partners with IT, DevOps, Engineering, GRC, Security Operations, and People teams.Key Responsibilities:

Define SSO and conditional access standards across business systemsEnforce phishing-resistant MFA and privileged-access policiesMeasure identity and endpoint control effectivenessLead identity, endpoint, and email incident responseGuide IT and employees on security requirementsRequirements:

Three-plus years in IT or identity securityHands-on identity provider, SSO, SAML, and OIDC experienceExperience enforcing FIDO2 or hardware-key MFAScripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShellStrong communication during incidents and escalationsApply IAM, MFA, privileged access, and incident-response expertise to strengthen Alpaca’s distributed workforce security.
