What can you bring to us?

· Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician – Red Seal

· Must have significant experience with medium voltage terminations (i.e., installations of heat shrink and cold shrink stress cones)

· High voltage termination experience (i.e., Pfisterer) is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate

· Strong interpersonal, communication, & problem-solving skills

· Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)

· Industrial Site experience

· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision





· Self motivates with a pro-active attitude & ability to pitch in & do what is required

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license

· Willingness to travel regularly to job sites

· Proficiency in the Windows environment & Microsoft Office

· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

You will get the opportunity to work in a variety of locations with a diverse & well-rounded team! Typical responsibilities would include:

· Work in conjunction with JA Tech’s technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system

· Medium & high voltage cable installations and terminations

· Troubleshoot and repair medium & high voltage cables

· Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual

· Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation

· Perform other duties as required
