This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build their accounting career in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in corporate accounting, franchise operations, and financial administration while working alongside an experienced and supportive management team.

A professional accounting designation is not required. We value initiative, accuracy, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with franchise-related financial transactions, including franchisee payments, fees, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and month-end closing procedures.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and assist with collections and payment inquiries.
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Respond to accounting inquiries from franchisees, vendors, customers, and internal team members.
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as required.

- Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and administrative efficiencies.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- No CPA designation or other professional accounting designation required.
- Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration role is considered an asset.
- Experience working in a franchise, multi-location, or service-based organization is an asset but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

What We Offer:

- A stable, full-time position with an established franchise organization.
