We are looking to fill a new position for a Junior Real Estate Law Clerk who will contribute to the overall excellent level of service provided to our clients. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of the real estate transaction process for commercial matters. This is a good position for someone who is detailed oriented, a self-starter who has excellent technical skills and has the ability to work with minimal supervision. With guidance, carriage of commercial real estate files from beginning to end Preparation of all related documents for purchase and sale transactions, mortgage transactions,



routine loan transactions and refinancing Review title searches, oversee off-title searches and draft requisition letters and responses Collaborate with in-house conveyancers on due diligence projects Produce the highest quality of work Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk or an experienced legal assistant looking to transition into a clerk role Strong knowledge of the real estate transaction process for commercial matters Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program in a law clerk program Flexibility to work overtime when needed Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
