Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Support food safety protocols by handling ingredients properly and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
- Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portioning to ensure consistency
- Maintain organization of kitchen stations and ensure all tools and equipment are clean and functional
- Follow health regulations and safety guidelines at all times during food handling and preparation




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen workplace preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
- Basic knowledge of serving practices is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.95 per hour
