Job Purpose:

Operate various forming machines to perform light to moderate repetitive work. Load and unload parts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

· Is required to work in compliance with Health and Safety rules and regulations

· Adhering to safety plant protocols around high-heat elements

· Monitor machine function, complete machine / work center daily check and report

· Complete and update OEE white boards as instructed

· Load / Unload machines as assigned

· Inspect as per work instructions, control samples and in-process inspection plans

· Identify nonconforming parts and follow proper reporting procedures

· Correctly logs labor posting time and quantities daily

· Maintain clean work area following 5S guidelines

· Adjust machine settings and controls to regulate the forming process

· Execute set-up procedures for mold changes

· Perform edge trimming and deburring on molded items, using hand tools and specialized equipment

· All other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements:

OSSD or equivalent

Other Education/Certification/Training

Ability to interpret work instructions and drawings

Preferred Work Experience:

2 plus years on forming machines

Tow motor license

Technical requirements:

Equipment: Knowledge of Maac and Illugi machine and controls will be considered an asset.
