Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Maintenance Helper to join our team. In this role, you will support the maintenance department by assisting with a variety of repair, troubleshooting, and facility upkeep tasks across our properties. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

Duties

- Assist with routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting to ensure facilities remain in excellent condition
- Support skilled technicians with repairs involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, welding, and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to identify issues early
- Perform general facilities maintenance including residential painting, cleaning, and minor repairs across hotel premises
- Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)




- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment
- Support supervising staff with project setups, material handling, and logistical coordination

Qualifications

- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of schematics and electrical systems
- Experience or familiarity with facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or residential painting is preferred
- Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other basic repair equipment
- Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration
- Previous supervising or leadership experience is advantageous but not required
- Customer service mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and complex maintenance procedures
