Lead maintenance reliability strategy at Bimeda in Cambridge, Ontario, using preventive maintenance and data-driven asset performance improvement. This is an in-office, full time position.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance and Reliability Manager supports pharmaceutical operations across Beaverdale Road and Pinebush Road. The leader oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while maintaining cGMP compliance. The role also advances equipment reliability, maintenance systems, calibration, facilities, and capital readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Develop site maintenance and reliability strategy
Monitor downtime, PM compliance, backlog, and repeat failures
Lead root-cause problem solving and corrective actions
Govern calibration, MainBoss,
and facility systems
Represent Maintenance during capital projects and commissioning
Requirements
Minimum five years progressive production maintenance experience
Bachelor of Science or equivalent skilled trade qualification
Experience in regulated manufacturing and cGMP requirements
Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance KPIs
Experience in unionized environments and structured root-cause analysis
Bring reliability leadership, maintenance planning, cGMP knowledge, and data-driven problem solving to Bimeda’s Cambridge operations.
