Overview

As the manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the company. This includes speaking with retail stores, customers and home builders to schedule appointments, addressing issues both before and when they arise, creating and adjusting a schedule for the installers, communicating with the installers, invoicing, receiving payments, ordering materials, coordinating vehicle maintenance and other daily tasks assigned by the owner.

Duties

- This position is mostly work-from-home based, however, you will be required to spend days at the shop as well as pick up and drop off materials to the shop as required. As such, a reliable vehicle and stable internet connection is required.
- Schedule jobs as they are sent to you using Google Calendar. This includes speaking with retail stores, homeowners, customers and home builders.
- Maintain the schedule as changes may need to be made quickly. This involves quick thinking, problem solving and strong communication skills. You must be ok with the day not always going to plan. You must have as much knowledge as possible about the job so that you can clearly communicate with the installers and customer.
- Dispatching jobs to installers.
- Use of QuickBooks Online to create invoices, receive payments and other basic bookkeeping including accounts receivable and payable.




- Payroll using QuickBooks Online
- Monitoring and responding to emails as well as phone calls in a professional manner.
- Ordering and picking up materials as the owner or installers advise that they are needed.
- Coordinating company vehicle maintenance as required.

Requirements

- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Calendar, QuickBooks, Google Sheets
- Strong problem solving skills
- Leadership skills. You are leading a team of installers who will look to you for guidance. All technical questions will be directed to the owner or a senior installer.
- The ability to think on your feet and make changes as needed.
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Time management
- A want and willingness to learn. The more you're willing to learn about the installations themselves, the easier it will make your position.
- A reliable vehicle and a class 5 drivers license

- January 4th, 2027

Wage

- $23-27/hour based on experience
