Insight Global is looking for a Manager or experienced Assistant Manager to join a Commercial Assurance team in Calgary, in a net current role with a large consulting firm. This is a specialized consulting role focused on helping clients understand and manage the commercial risks associated with major projects, contracts, vendors and project spending. The successful candidate will review contracts, invoices and financial transactions to determine whether vendors and contractors are charging clients correctly.

They will identify potential overpayments, contractual issues and areas of commercial risk and help clients improve cost control and potentially recover costs. This is a fulltime role with the expectation to be in the office 2-3 times a week. The role is particularly relevant to clients operating across construction, oil & gas, energy and major capital projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 7 years of relevant experience in commercial assurance, contract compliance, internal audit, risk advisory, financial assurance,



or forensics • Strong experience leading client engagements and managing projects from planning through completion • Solid understanding of commercial contracts, financial controls, and contractual obligations • Experience identifying financial, operational, and commercial risks • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and presenting findings clearly • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time • Previous experience leading, coaching, or mentoring junior team members Background in energy, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial services is strongly preferred NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • CPA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, CFA, PMP, or similar professional designation • Consulting or qualified services experience • Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, or business development • Advanced Excel skills Experience with Power BI, SQL, ACL, IDEA, or similar data analytics tools Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
