This permanent part-time Nursing Coordinator role combines clinical oversight, staff leadership, and emergency preparedness within Nursing Administration. The coordinator interprets hospital objectives, manages shift resources, and addresses operational or patient-care concerns. Strong judgment is essential across emergency, acute, intensive, and related care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enact emergency responses and coordinate actions during codes
- Investigate and resolve shift problems with care teams
- Respond to concerns and de-escalate client or visitor issues
- Counsel staff and escalate matters to management when necessary




- Ensure union contracts and secure working relationships are maintained

Requirements:

- Strong clinical skills in emergency and critical care settings
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
- ACLS, CPR, IV, and critical care certifications or skills
- Effective communication, organization, and team leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet physical work demands

Support RVH teams with clinical leadership, emergency coordination, staff coaching, and safe patient-centered care across shifts.
