Lead complex financing transactions for Manulife from a hybrid Toronto base, applying negotiation, documentation, and treasury leadership expertise.

As Director, Treasury Finance, you will serve as the primary Treasury Finance lead for debt issuance, liability management, wholesale funding, share repurchases, and related activities. You will oversee strategy, analysis, execution, and post-transaction review while negotiating with financial institutions and counterparties. The role includes managing banking arrangements and developing Treasury Finance talent.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct financing transaction strategy, execution, and post-transaction reviews
- Lead commercial negotiations with banks, dealers, investors, and counsel
- Negotiate credit agreements, term sheets, and offering documents
- Manage revolving facilities,



letters of credit, and funding arrangements
- Improve treasury controls, reporting, governance, and execution processes

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or 10 years of relevant progressive experience
- Complex financing transaction and commercial negotiation experience
- Ability to analyze and negotiate financing-related contracts
- Solid project management and organizational capabilities
- Ability to manage priorities under changing business requirements
