Serve a growing population as a full-time Urologist at Ridge Meadows Hospital, emphasizing laparoscopic cancer, reconstruction, and open surgery.

Ridge Meadows Urology group is adding another physician to meet increased on-call volumes and population growth. Elective OR resources will be shared with existing group members, with no recent resources associated with this posting. The role requires a broad skillset spanning endourology, laparoscopic surgery for cancer and reconstruction, and open surgery. Proficiency in transperineal prostate biopsy is desirable. Fraser Health medical staff participate in the UBC medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.

Key Responsibilities:





- Deliver laparoscopic surgery for cancer and reconstruction
- Perform open urological surgery
- Provide endourology services for population needs
- Participate in increased group on-call coverage
- Share available elective OR resources

Requirements:

- Broad surgical skillset meeting population requirements
- Endourology experience
- Laparoscopic cancer and reconstructive surgery capability
- Open surgery capability
- CMPA, CPSBC, and FRCSC eligibility
