Inspect fire alarm systems in Calgary while preparing accurate reports, completing corrective work, and supporting Viking Fire Protection customers.

This Fire Alarm Technician reports to the Operations Manager within the Inspection Division. The position covers system inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and documented deficiencies. It also requires completing upgrades and modifications, with emergency service availability during evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections of existing fire alarm systems
- Document deficiencies accurately and promptly
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Carry out corrective work identified during inspections
- Respond to rotating emergency service calls

Requirements:

- Two years of relevant inspection and service experience
- Diploma or training in Fire Protection Technology
- Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S536
- Ability to work well independently
- Valid driver's license
