Use Adaptive Mentalizing Based Integrative Treatment at IWK Health to coordinate care for complex child and youth mental health needs.

This Bedford-based Clinical Therapist position reports to the Manager of Community Mental Health and Addictions. You will support treatment teams and system partners through AMBIT, direct client services, consultation, and mentalization-based interventions. Regular travel across local and provincial communities connects you with clients, families, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support existing treatment teams and system partners
- Promote adaptive functioning across client networks
- Acquire resources aligned with client needs
- Provide consultation to families and community partners




- Foster stakeholder relationships and collaborative service planning

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in a clinical health-related discipline
- Registration with an appropriate professional association or regulator
- Two years’ clinical experience in child and youth mental health
- Skills in suicide and violence risk assessment
- Robust organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills
