This Municipal Design Engineer role supports WSP’s Calgary team across municipal infrastructure and land development assignments. You will design water and wastewater systems alongside site servicing, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure. The work serves public, private, and First Nation clients while supporting technical quality and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design water distribution and sewage collection infrastructure
- Develop stormwater management and water resources solutions
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and estimates




- Provide technical advice and mentor junior staff
- Review construction work and support field personnel

Requirements:

- Five to ten years in municipal infrastructure or land development
- Accredited civil engineering degree or diploma
- Alberta P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech. designation
- Proven sewer, watermain, and road design experience
- Knowledge of standards, guidelines, and approval processes
