Apply critical care experience to anesthesia practice as an Anesthesia Assistant with Michael Garron Hospital in east Toronto. Support airway care, regional blocks, and urgent clinical responses.

The successful practitioner assists with care during general, regional, and local anesthesia at the TEHN Surgical Centre. Under direct anesthesiologist supervision, this position monitors anesthesia depth and responds to expected, urgent, and emergent events. Responsibilities extend to education, research, workflow support, and maintaining care records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory care according to professional and hospital standards
- Support regional blocks and ophthalmology conscious sedation

Requirements:

- Minimum one to two years anesthesia assistant experience
- Minimum five years critical care setting experience
- Operating room experience preferred
- CRTO or CNO registration and Advanced Anesthesia Assistant certification
- Demonstrated independent and team-oriented interdisciplinary practice
