Shape mining water outcomes as a senior project leader with WSP, mentoring engineers and guiding complex projects across Western Canada. Flexible locations are available in Alberta and British Columbia.

Within WSP’s Mine Water & Environment – West team, you will combine technical leadership with client development and project delivery. You will guide work from conceptual planning through detailed design and construction support. Your leadership will strengthen standards, best practices, safety culture, and the mining water practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex multidisciplinary mine water and surface water projects
- Build trusted relationships with mining clients and regulators
- Contribute to proposals, pursuits, and strategic growth initiatives




- Mentor engineers and strengthen technical standards
- Support cohesive, defensible mine water solutions

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Skilled Engineer registration in a Canadian province
- Typically 10+ years consulting in water resources engineering
- Demonstrated leadership on complex mining water projects
- Strong technical judgement and collaborative leadership capability

Lead WSP’s mining water work through client relationships, mentoring, technical oversight, and advanced water resources expertise.
