You will review drawings, contracts, scope narratives, and tender documents while coordinating mechanical scopes with architectural, civil, structural, and electrical estimators. The work includes quantity take-offs, subcontractor quotes, risk review, and client-facing budget discussions.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pre-construction, design-build, and stipulated price estimatesComplete quantity take-offs for labor, equipment, and materialsCoordinate scope delineation with multidisciplinary estimatorsReview quotes, identify scope gaps,



and manage budget risksMaintain labor, material, and project cost databasesRequirements:

Intermediate or senior mechanical estimating experienceKnowledge of estimating strategies and construction contractsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and cost coding systemsExperience with mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, or life science projectsKnowledge of plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and BAS/BMSBring mechanical estimating, quantity take-off, and construction contract knowledge to EllisDon’s multidisciplinary pre-construction team.
