AKA seeks a senior-level electrical engineering specialist to develop and execute land-based power systems and microgrid projects. The position combines technical authority with proposal support, commercial project awareness, and engineering leadership. You will guide integration of generators, energy storage, and power conversion systems while coordinating technical decisions across project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support microgrid, generation, storage, and power-conversion integration

Guide utility interconnection, grounding, and protection philosophies

Review load flow, short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies





Lead technical design reviews and resolve engineering challenges

Support factory testing, installation, commissioning, and field implementation

Requirements

Significant experience with MV/HV power systems

Strong knowledge of land-based distribution and generation systems

Experience with microgrids or distributed generation preferred

Understanding of utility requirements and relevant industry standards

Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
