As Consultant Psychiatrist in Old Age, you will lead and develop clinical services spanning CHRTT-OP and DIST. The post focuses on complex, high-risk patients experiencing acute crisis, complex mental health needs, or deteriorating wellbeing. You will help steer service direction alongside non-medical senior leaders while supporting quality improvement and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate actively in team leadership and service development
- Lead clinical audit and implement assessment tools and outcome measures
- Contribute to Trust initiatives and financial service planning
- Liaise with psychiatrists,



general practitioners, carers, and organisations
- Teach and supervise staff across professional disciplines

Requirements:

- Current General Medical Council professional registration
- Approved Clinician and Mental Health Act Section 12(2) approval
- Adherence to skilled codes and Trust policies
- Experience supporting clinical leadership and service performance
- Capacity to travel between sites and community contacts
