Lead electrical design improvements across HVAC projects at ICE Western Sales, using industrial controls, PLCs, HMIs, and operator interfaces. The work is team-oriented.

This experienced Electrical Design Engineer designs systems while improving processes between shop workers and designers. The role supports HVAC unit controls, commercial and industrial projects, and integrated electrical and mechanical designs. Progression to Team Lead is possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead process improvements between shop workers and designers
- Analyze designs, resolve challenges, and propose solutions
- Support projects using PLCs, HMIs, and controllers
- Ensure CEC, NEC, NFPA70, and UL 508A compliance
- Collaborate across electrical and mechanical engineering teams

Requirements:

- Industrial control panel design experience is required
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Distech, or Schneider systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD at intermediate level or higher
- Familiarity with building automation systems is an asset
- Initiative, results focus, leadership, and communication skills
