Build and improve Azure API services with Node.js, React, REST, and OpenAPI as an experienced remote consultant serving Canada.

ELITS Canada is looking for an Azure API Engineer to develop an Integration Hub and contemporary internal developer platform. The position spans API security, lifecycle management, developer portal engineering, catalog integrations, and automated quality controls. You will also troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and drive continuous platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement API authentication, authorization, security, and lifecycle management
- Develop and customize the Integration Hub developer portal
- Build API specification validation and linting controls
- Troubleshoot gateways, portals, applications, and infrastructure




- Create documentation and drive continuous platform improvements

Requirements:

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management
- Solid REST API, OpenAPI, and lifecycle management understanding
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript development skills
- Node.js, React, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT experience
- Analytical, autonomous, organized, and customer-oriented approach
