Guide mountain utility systems at Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, coordinating operators, emergency response, maintenance, and safe operations.

The Supervisor / Operator III is a key member of the Big White Utilities Department. You will lead Junior Operators and oversee Water Treatment II, Water Distribution II, Wastewater Treatment III, and Wastewater Collection I systems. The work requires leadership, communication, technical judgment, and readiness for variable seasonal scheduling and on-call response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Train employees in safe practices and emergency protocols
- Lead emergency response for maintenance and system repairs
- Coordinate inventory and procurement for utility equipment
- Support secure, efficient operation of utility systems




- Record system operations and maintenance activities accurately

Requirements:

- Three or more years supervising or leading operators
- Minimum five years of utility or municipal operations experience
- Relevant EOCP certification in British Columbia
- Ability to operate vehicles and utility equipment safely
- Availability for standby, on-call, emergencies, and overtime
