This Electronics Technologist role suits an independent hands-on specialist with experience in electronics, instrumentation, automation, and industrial controls. Responsibilities span PLC and HMI integration, control-system upgrades, equipment testing, maintenance, and technical documentation. Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation, and Altium Designer experience is considered an asset, alongside strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Integrate PLCs with operator consoles, sensors, networks, and workstations
- Upgrade, install, commission, and maintain automation control systems
- Develop test plans and fixtures for equipment verification




- Record test results and maintenance history accurately
- Mentor technicians and liaise with vendors and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma, preferably controls, automation, or robotics
- Seven or more years of relevant experience after graduation
- PLC programming and HMI development experience or learning aptitude
- Soldering, schematic, analog, and digital electronics skills
- Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills
